How to Update Aaadhar Card Details Online 2018

Step 1. Log in to the official website UIDAI link for this Aadhaar card to update or modify details on your Aadhaar card https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/web/guest/update
Step 2. Enter your valid Aadhaar card number and fill in the text verification. Then click “Send OTP”.
Step 3. An OTP (one-time password) will be sent to your registered mobile number
Step 4. Enter and submit OTP and Captcha code.
Step 5. Now select the field to be changed.
Step 6. Scan and upload the proof of updated mutated details.
Step 7. Aadhar Card will generate a URN (Update Request Number) to track the process of updating.
Step 8. You can print a voucher or download a copy of the URN.

Update Aadhar Card Details by Visiting an Enrolment Centre
Aadhaar cardholders can visit the Aadhaar Enrollment Center and get their Aadhaar details. Here’s how you can easily:
Fill in the authentication form.
Enter the correct information in your Aadhaar, but correctly enter the information correctly.
Get your self-verified copies of credentials that meet your upgrade request.
Submit the form along with the documents.
The applicant will charge 25 rupees for each visit to the entry centre for update or modification.

Important things to keep in mind when updating Aadhaar card details
The person should make sure that any changes in his / her Aadhaar card are appropriate to prevent the problem from starting at the start. The following issues should be kept in mind while updating/repairing Aadhar card details:
Changes to a person’s entry are correct and appropriate documents that are attached to a person’s form should be accepted.
The required details should be filled in English or in the local language.
When correcting the Aadhaar card details, it is important to make sure the URN is kept safe and it helps to improve the status update status.
If the cardholder no longer has a registered phone number, the offline method should be adopted to correct the Aadhaar card.
Make sure all details entered in the form of correction are filled with the source code.
All necessary information should be filled and no option should be observed.
Be sure not to use any nomenclatures or words when writing the name of the holder.
Only those documents that need proof must be sent.

Why is a request for Aadhaar card update/correction being rejected?
All requests sent to UIDAI are not processed. UIDAI follows specific rules to verify details of any changes in Aadhaar details. When these standards are met, UIDAI updates details on its system. The following conditions must be fulfilled before preparing corrections in Aadhaar details:
The form should be filled properly and may not be incomplete or there must be any errors.
You need to send the appropriate documents along with the form for verification. Without such documents, updates or correction request cannot be processed.
All documents sent to UIDAI must be autonomy.
Details of the Aadhaar are not updated if the details in the form do not match the attached document for verification.
Aadhaar card update also faces roadblock if the documents are not submitted with the form.
For some reasons, the Aadhaar card details refund request can be made by submitting the appropriate request in the form of the applicant and submitting the latest request by submitting appropriate self-certification documents.
