Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd registered a 20 percent growth in its third-quarter profit. Higher interest, fee revenues and bad loans have fallen. Net profit of Rs. 1,053 crore (165.11 million dollars) in the quarter ended December 31, 2012. Last year, the fourth largest private bank reported a net profit of Rs 880 crore.
An average of Rs. 1,069 crores, according to Thomson Reuters data. Total debt to macro loans amounted to 2.31 percent by the end of December. 2.47 percent in the previous quarter and 2.42 percent in the same period last year.
Net interest income rose 17 per cent to Rs. 2,394 crores.
